- The Open men's sled push is 335 lb (152 kg) over 50 m, according to the official Season 26/27 rulebook. That figure includes the sled itself.
- Pro men push a heavier sled at 445 lb (202 kg) over that same 50 m.
- The Open men's farmers carry is 2 x 53 lb (24 kg) per hand over 200 m, and Pro men carry 2 x 71 lb (32 kg) per hand over the same distance.
- Men throw 100 wall balls at 13 lb (6 kg) in Open and 20 lb (9 kg) in Pro, both at the same 3.00 m target.
- These standards are current for Season 26/27. The full men's table is below, and a decision table further down shows which division fits your training.
The HYROX weights for men are set by division. Open and Pro men cover the same 8 functional stations over the same distances, with a 1000 m run before each one. What separates the two is load. Pro men push, pull, and carry heavier. The Open sled push sits at 335 lb (152 kg) including the sled, while Pro men move 445 lb (202 kg). Below is every station in race order, in both pounds and kilograms, so you know exactly what you are training for.
HYROX Weights for Men at a Glance
Both men's divisions run the identical race shape: SkiErg, Sled Push, Sled Pull, Burpee Broad Jump, Rowing, Farmers Carry, Sandbag Lunges, Wall Balls, each preceded by a 1000 m run. The reps and distances never change between Open and Pro, and neither does the wall ball target height. The only thing that moves is how much weight is on the sled, in your hands and on your back. Athletes aged 60 and over may still race Pro at regular events, though World Championship qualification for that age group is through the Open division.
Three stations carry no external load at all, according to the official Season 26/27 rulebook. The SkiErg (1000 m), the row (1000 m), and the burpee broad jump (80 m) are scored on distance and bodyweight, identical for Open and Pro men. The other five stations are where the division weights actually bite.
Men's HYROX Weights by Station (Open and Pro, lb and kg)
This table is the reference men ask for most: all 8 stations in race order, with the Open and Pro loads side by side in pounds and kilograms. The sled figures are the full sled-inclusive load, the same way they are weighed at the event, not the plate weight alone. For your exact division, the weight standards tool renders every number for you.

Sled Push and Sled Pull (the heaviest men's loads)
The sleds are the heaviest thing men move all day. The push runs 50 m at 335 lb (152 kg) in Open and 445 lb (202 kg) in Pro. The pull covers the same 50 m at 227 lb (103 kg) Open and 337 lb (153 kg) Pro, according to the official Season 26/27 rulebook. Both numbers include the sled itself, which is why they look higher than a bare plate total. If you have only ever trained against the plates, you are training light.
Farmers Carry and Sandbag Lunges
The farmers carry is loaded per hand, never summed, according to the official Season 26/27 rulebook. Open men carry 2 x 53 lb (24 kg) over 200 m, and Pro men carry 2 x 71 lb (32 kg) over the same distance. The sandbag lunges run 100 m with a bag of 44 lb (20 kg) in Open and 66 lb (30 kg) in Pro, worn across the shoulders. Both stations land late in the race, when grip and legs are already taxed.
Wall Balls (same reps, heavier ball in Pro)
Wall balls are the last station, and the rep count is the same for every man: 100 throws, according to the official Season 26/27 rulebook. The target height is 3.00 m and it does not change in Pro. What changes is the ball: 13 lb (6 kg) in Open and 20 lb (9 kg) in Pro. If you have seen a lower rep figure quoted online, it is out of date; the men's standard is 100 reps.
Men's Open vs Pro: What Actually Changes
PRO divisions use heavier loads than Open. The station list, the distances, the rep counts, and the wall ball height are shared. Pro simply layers heavier loads onto the same race. A man who can finish Open comfortably is not automatically ready for Pro, because the sleds and carries scale up sharply while the running stays the same.
Picking a lane is mostly about your strength base. If your sled and carry numbers already sit near the Open standards in training, Pro is a fair target. If they do not, Open lets you race the same event without the load blowing up your splits. Compare the two columns directly on the Open men standards and the Pro men standards pages.
Should You Enter Men's Open or Pro?
The table above tells you what each division weighs. It does not tell you which one is right for you, that depends on what your own training already looks like and what you actually want out of the race. Match yourself to a row below, not the row you wish described you.
| If this is you | Your goal | Race in | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| First HYROX, no history of loaded sled work in training | Finish and learn the stations | Open | The 335 lb (152 kg) Open sled push over 50 m is already heavy enough to teach you the shuttle without stalling out on race day |
| You already sled push 202 kg or more in training sessions | Race at the level you already train, not below it | Pro | Racing Open under a load you have already moved in the gym leaves fitness on the table you paid for |
| You have raced Open before and the sled stations did not stall you out | Chase a Pro finish or a qualifying spot | Pro | Comfort at 335 lb (152 kg) in a race setting usually means you have capacity to spare for the jump to 445 lb (202 kg) |
| You are not sure your grip holds up under a heavier farmers carry | Finish the carry clean instead of stalling mid-station | Open | The Pro carry is 2 x 71 lb (32 kg) per hand against Open's 2 x 53 lb (24 kg); a grip you have not tested at Open weight over 200 m is not one to test for the first time at the heavier Pro load |
HYROX Weights for Men in Pounds vs Kilograms
Every load on this page is shown in both units because men train in both. The conversions are exact, so a number that looks round in one unit rarely looks round in the other.
What These HYROX Weights for Men Mean for Your Race
Knowing the numbers is only half the job. They also tell you where the race gets decided. The sleds and the farmers carry are the loads heavy enough to spike your heart rate and drain your grip, and they are exactly where a too-fast first run will cost you. Train the loads at race weight so they feel familiar on the floor, not a shock.
Match your training to the division you will actually race. There is no advantage in grinding Pro sleds if you are entered in Open, and no point racing Pro on Open-weight practice. For how these loads should shape your splits station by station, the HYROX pacing guide walks the whole race in order.

What are the weights in men's HYROX?
Men race 8 stations in Open or Pro. The weighted ones are the sled push (335 lb (152 kg) Open), sled pull (227 lb (103 kg) Open), farmers carry (2 x 53 lb (24 kg) per hand), sandbag lunges (44 lb (20 kg)), and wall balls (13 lb (6 kg)). Pro men move heavier on every one of these.
What is the men's sled push weight?
The sled push is 335 lb (152 kg) in Open and 445 lb (202 kg) in Pro over 50 m. Those are sled-inclusive figures for Season 26/27. The sled pull runs the same distance at 227 lb (103 kg) Open and 337 lb (153 kg) Pro.
What is the men's farmers carry weight?
The men's farmers carry is 2 x 53 lb (24 kg) in Open and 2 x 71 lb (32 kg) in Pro over 200 m. The figure is per hand, so you hold one weight in each hand and never the combined total.
Do all men lift the same weights?
No. Men choose Open or Pro. PRO divisions use heavier loads than Open. The 8 stations, distances, and reps stay the same (100 wall balls in both); only the loads are heavier in Pro.
What is the men's wall ball weight and height?
Men throw 13 lb (6 kg) in Open and 20 lb (9 kg) in Pro for 100 reps. The target height is 3.00 m and stays the same in Pro.
Which men's stations have no weight?
The SkiErg (1000 m), the row (1000 m), and the burpee broad jump (80 m) carry no external load for men. Each still follows a 1000 m run, so they are far from easy.
Can older men race Open?
Yes. PRO divisions use heavier loads than Open. Age sorts you into a ranking bucket, not a separate weight, so Open men of every age lift the standard Open loads listed above.
